Our enjoyment
of holidays in France has led us to this lovely region,
which is a great base for holidays at any time of year,
for families and groups of friends. Activities change with
the seasons, but the friendly alpine atmosphere remains
the same.
Morzine is a charming market
town located in the heart of the legendary Portes du Soleil
skiing area, which offers over 600km of easily accessible
skiing and winter sports. Nearby Avoriaz provides some of
the best snowboarding in Europe.
Morzine in summer is as active
or relaxing as you want it to be. There's so much to do
- tennis, golf, swimming, horse riding, fishing, paragliding,
white water rafting,canoeing and for the youngsters there
is the childrens farm, water park and indiana park. Throughout
July and August the telecabine whisks walkers and mountain
bikers high into the mountains to enjoy the clean air and
superb views.
Chalet La Vardaf is a cosy welcoming,
home from home with excellent views of the French Alps,
offering self-catered accommodation. You have the freedom
to explore the area, enjoy the local produce and sample
the excellent wines.
